Captain Wayne is the owner and operator of the charter boat Freedom, based out of Panama City Beach, FL. With over 30 years of experience fishing the local waters of the Florida panhandle and abroad, he knows where the fish are and how to put you on them.
Whether you’re chasing blue-water trophies like mahi, tuna, wahoo, marlin with your buddies, or bottom fishing for red snapper, grouper, amberjack with the family to fill the freezer, Captain Wayne has the local knowledge and expertise to make it happen.

On board The Freedom, you will be welcomed by a family friendly crew ready to help you with all of your fishing needs. So whether you are a first-time charter or a group of seasoned anglers, our primary goal is customer service. The Freedom is a 44′ Henriques Sport Fisher, with state of the art fishing electronics. Inside you will find a fully air-conditioned cabin with ample seating for your entire group. Down below, we have a galley with storage for your snacks and personal belongings. A fully functional clean restroom, with a fresh-water sink. Up-Forward, we have four large bunks for all of your napping needs after a fun day of fishing. Our spacious back deck offers plenty of room for fishing for the entire group.
